Memories of Disney World can bring up bright colors, character interactions and magical touches. All of those things are things you’ll find at Disney Resorts. But are there reasons beyond the theming and magic to stay at a Disney Resort? Here is an outline of the perks you’ll get for staying at a Disney Resort in 2023. 

Extra Magic Hours 

For all resorts, you’ll be able to enter the parks 30 minutes before the published opening time. It will be listed on the schedule if it is available in the park that day (it is available every day, at every park but that is subject to change). Keep in mind that not all attractions or even “lands” will be open at the magic hour time. For a list of attractions, please see the MyDisneyExperience app or disneyworld.go.com 

Extended Evening Hours 

For participating Deluxe and Villa Resorts, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will have 2 extra hours on specific days to take advantage of low crowds and short wait times. These look like they happen about once a week for each park. 

Transportation

Disney World is huge and it can be hard to get around. Every resort is well connected to the parks and Disney Springs through a fleet of buses, boats, monorail and skyliner- depending on the resort you chose. No matter what you chose, getting to the parks will be a simple and straightforward process. 

Parking

All parking is now included at no additional cost at Disney World resorts. If you are staying at a resort, your parking at the parks is also waived so you can chose to drive or take Disney transportation to the parks. 

When you book a package (tickets and a resort stay), you’ll be eligible for a Magic Extra Savings Card. You can pick these up at the front desk if you do not order Magic Bands from your account before your stay. These are benefits that you’ll get when you book a package at Disney World in 2023:

Some events require an additional admission charge. There are no events on certain days. Days and hours of operation of concessions, venues and attractions varies.
